[Siege tower (literally "walking tower")] 2. Testudo Arietaria. [Shed covering a battering ram (literally "turtle for the ram")] 3. Testudo. ["Turtle" formation made by soldiers by overlapping their shields] 4. Onager. [Catapult, whose name meant "wild ass" because of the way it "kicked" when fired] 5. Ballista. [Dart or bullet thrower]"
