Description
Parts 1-2. Philip Sterling, the long-time writer and public relations executive for the Columbia Broadcasting System, interviews Ed [Edward] Rosenbaum, who handled publicity of the Ziegfeld Follies theatrical Broadway productions from 1907-1910/11. Rosenbaum discusses Bert Williams being the first black-featured performer in an all-white show, his performances in the Follies theatrical productions on stage in New York, roadshows from 1910-1911, and working with various Follies producers, directors, and actors. Part 3. Interviews conducted by Philip Sterling for his unfinished biography about the African American entertainer Bert Williams.
