Interview with Ernst Uthoff conducted by Marian Horosko (approximately 21 minutes) and evaluation by P.W. Manchester of the Chilean National Ballet including its performance of The green table (approximately five minutes) and interview with Harvey Lichtenstein conducted by Alvin H. Reiss (approximately 11 minutes), for broadcast on radio station WNYC-FM, New York, on its series World of Dance, in 1964 (Uthoff and Manchester) and 1965 (Lichtenstein and closing remarks and announcements. Streaming file (approximately first 20:38 minutes). [Music and introductory remarks by unidentified announcer.] Marian Horosko introduces her guest Ernst Uthoff, a director of the Chilean National Ballet, and speaks briefly about the Jooss Ballet and Kurt Jooss's ballet The green table [a recorded excerpt of Frederic A. Cohen's music for The green table is played followed by Horosko's brief comments on the excerpt]; Ernst Uthoff speaks with Horosko about his role in the founding of the Chilean National Ballet; The green table and Kurt Jooss; the collaboration between Jooss and Frederic A. Cohen; Uthoff''s efforts to preserve The green table in accordance with Jooss's original work; notation as compared with film as tools for reconstructing a work. Manchester gives her evaluation of the Chilean National Ballet's recent performances at the New York State Theater [now the David H.
