DescriptionThis recording, which consists primarily of three interviews, was made for broadcast by radio station WNYC-FM, New York on its series The world of dance, on August 13, 1967. Marian Horosko, as host, plays two pre-recorded interviews, the first with Eliot Feld (approximately four minutes), and the second with Cynthia Gregory (approximately 3:30 minutes). These interviews are followed by a live interview with Matteo conducted by Alvin H. Reiss, as host (approximately 16 minutes).

[Music and introductory remarks by unidentified announcer followed by Marian Horosko's introductory remarks.] Eliot Feld (in a pre-recorded interview) speaks with Marian Horosko about his commission to create a ballet (entitled Harbinger) for American Ballet Theatre; Cynthia Gregory (in a pre-recorded interview) speaks with Horosko about learning [the role of Odette/Odile in] Swan lake, for which she is the fifth understudy; a typical day when touring with American Ballet Theatre; her husband.
