Description
Walter Terry introduces Nigel Gosling, who writes in collaboration with his wife Maude Lloyd under the joint pseudonym, Alexander Bland. Nigel Gosling speaks about how he became interested in dance; how he met his wife, Maude Lloyd; Maude Lloyd's background and her career as a ballet dancer; their work together as Alexander Bland, in particular, working with Rudolf Nureyev on his autobiography; the differences in style and traditions between English ballet and ballet in the United States, including the New York City Ballet Company.
