He was an employee of the Kongelige Teater in 1874.

DescriptionDouble-page spread from the Danish periodical Illustreret tidende, depicting the interior of the theatre now called the Gamle Scene or Old Stage of the Kongelige Teater or Royal Theatre of Copenhagen. The motto "Ei blot til lyst" ("Not just for pleasure") is visible on the proscenium. A performance is in progress, attended by a well-dressed audience.
