Biographical/historical: Engraving after a design by the painter Adam Buck. The online catalog of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, which also holds a copy of this print, gives the engraver's name as Mariano Bovi.

Description
Depiction of two young women, dressed in the neoclassical fashions of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century, in a dance pose. Their hands are joined and their faces turned towards each other, but the body of the woman on the left faces front, while the body of the woman on the right faces back.
