Collection culled from various sources, chiefly dating to the nineteenth century, depicting folk dancing in various European countries, among them France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. Some lack captions or other identifying text. This collection includes two versions of an image by W.H. Bartlett, variously titled The Swiss cottage and Cottage near Thun, engraved by different artists.
