Additional title: John Wesley: his portrait by Nathaniel Hone; and his spectacles, spurs, shoe-buckles, and candlestick, which are in Wesley's House Museum. Wesley's gown, hat, and shoes; also preserved, with the other relics illustrated, in Wesley's House Museum, City Road, E.C. Wesley's grandfather clock, which still keeps good time. The famous teapot presented to Wesley by Josiah Wedgwood, the potter, who made it. A cock-fighter's chair: given to John Wesley by a convert. The house in which John Wesley was born, at Epworth, Lincolnshire, on June 17 (O.S.), 1703. Wesley's chapel, City Road, in 1779: a south-west view; showing his residence on the left.
