Panel discusses using language and sound in choreographis works, with excerpts of Joe Goode's The Rambler and Ann Parson's Nox. |||| Reel 4. Calliope awards presentations to Robert Gottlieb and Nancy Reynolds (ca. 25 min.) / presenter: Alastair Macaulay. Awards ceremony recognizing Gottlieb and Reynolds for their gifts to dance criticism over their careers. REcipients discuss their careers and backgrounds and why they got involved in dance criticism. |||| Reel 5. Don't throw that away! Preserving your legacy as a dance critic (ca. 49 min.) / panel: Nichole Arvin, Tara Davis, Maureen Maryanski, Imogen Smith, Nicole Topich, Amanda Wick. Panel offers discusses the importance for critics to be proactive in the preservation of their work and offer advice to critics about organizing and preparing their papers for eventual acquisition by an institution as well as how to find the most appropriate place for their collections.
