Description
The first 25 minutes is Leonard Bernstein's informal and witty interaction with an unidentified audience. Responding to various questions, Bernstein covers a vast area of music related topics from general to those that concern his compositions, thoughts, views, and intentions. Not all questions and answers are fully audible drowned out by background noise or due to the remoteness of recording device. The rest of the recording (22 min.) is an unfinished excerpt from a lecture presented by Bruce Prince-Joseph, an organist and Hunter College faculty member, who examines Tchaikovsky's overture Romeo and Juliet.
