[Jane Ong] interviews Ping Chong, American contemporary theater director, choreographer, video and installation artist. Chong discusses his production of the play Deshima, a documentary collage of the history of the West and Japan. The interview precedes the show that played the next day [June. 15, 1996] at the Victoria Theatre, Singapore.
