Content: Inscribed beneath figure: Maistre à Dancer. Ce Danceur à l'air si charment, Qu'il s'attire bien des caresses, L'on peut juger facillement, Que ce Maistre a bien des Maistresses. chez N. Bonnart, rue St. Iacques à l'Aigle avec priv.
Content: Male figure, full-length to front, head inclined to the left. He wears a deep red coat over green under-garment, lace at neck and sleeves. His long curly wig is characteristic of seventeenth century style and a small sword is attached at the waist on the right. He is depicted playing a pochette.
