NotesBiographical/historical: "A Venetian by birth, Bartolomeo Ganasetti (also known as Bartolo or Bortolo Ganassetti or Ganascetti) was active inCentral Italy in the 1740s and 1750s, staging ballets in operas by important composers of the day such as Johann Adolf Hasse and Christoph Willibald Gluck, and later working as an impresario.
