Description
Image depicts the activities of a French dance school. A girl dances at the center of the room, stepping on right foot, right arm raised; she wears a bonnet, dress with tight bodice and calf-length skirt. Eight similarly attired girls sit and watch. The dance master sits, clapping time. A young fiddler sits on a table. Another girl stands looking over her shoulder, her foot resting on an ottoman, tightening her garter.
