Double hemisphere map. Shows routes of explorers and includes historical notes. Includes illustrations, including several scenes from Genesis, ancillary maps showing north and south polar projections and the constellations of the northern and southern hemispheres, and a diagram of lunar phases. Based in part on Jean-Baptiste Nolin's Le Globe terrestre representé en deux plans-hemispheres. In French. Biblical scenes captioned also in Dutch and Latin. Scale approximated from degrees of latitude. Relief shown pictorially. Scale approximately 1:38,000,000. At equator. (W 180°--E 180°/N 90°--S 90°).
