Description
The first two videos depict a video day. On Video 1, documentary footage show Culver's preparation of his piece "Quasicrystals" in Video 1, featuring found objects either hanging or tethered on wires, and the piece moves and makes music by floor vibrations (striking metal tile on floor with different metal rods) by Culver and Moore, the music recorded (?) by a computer program. Video 2 shows rehearsal and set-up of Yasunao Tone's work, "What is left of Rembrandt that is thrown in small regular squares and thrown in the toliet", featuring a Flute-to-Haiku conversion computer program by David Meschter (performed by flutist Barbara Held) and a computer-manipulated piano (computer program with wired sensory board, wires and switches), which is activated when the reciter (Thomas Buckner and Yasunao Tone) speaks into two mini-microphones. On Video 3, the Haiku computer program is featured.
