Content: A hydria is a large vase for carrying water. Helen was the most beautiful woman in Greece. This is not her more famous abduction by Paris, which started the Trojan War. She was first kidnapped in her youth by the hero Theseus, but was brought back home by her brothers. An "Iliupersis" (Fall of Ilium, another name for Troy) is a representation of an incident related to the Trojan War.
