Content: "Hudson Memorial Bridge. To be erected over the Harlem at Spuyten Duyvil (upper New York) as a permanent memorial to Henry Hudson. Planned by Professor William H. Burr, Columbia University, Whitney Warren, architect. It will be double-decked for foot and railway traffic. The centre span, 725 feet, will be the longest masonry arch in the world." "Hudson Memorial Monument. Designed by Karl Bitter. Cost about $100,000, raised by popular subscription. Dedicated during the Hudson-Fulton Celebration, September 25th to October 9th, 1909."--printed on verso.
