Content: "Over 300,000 persons pass this corner every 24 hours. Within a radius of five blocks there are 25 theatres, 30 restaurants, 18 hotles and 15 clubs. This big electric Corticelli Spool Silk sign is directly opposite the Times Building. It commands attention because of its lifelike action."--printed on border.
Content: "The Big Corticelli Spool Silk Sign" "In this remarkable electric flashing sign the Corticelli Kitten is playing with a spool of red Corticelli Silk. With its paws the kitten unwinds the silk from the spool and soon becomes completely entangled in the silk. The sign is 46 feet wide by 50 feet high. The kitten is 36 feet wide by 30 feet high. The Corticelli spool is 15 feet long by 10 feet high. The words 'Corticelli Spool Silk' are 7 feet high. There are 1962 electric lamps in three different colors, red, white and green used in this sign. It is one the largest and most effective electric signs ever erected in New York City."--printed on verso.
