"Reproduction of a portrait photoprint of Native American Sioux warriors, taken in Washington D. C., includes : 1. High Hawk, 2. Little Wound, 3. Big Road, 4. Two Strike, 5. Fire Lighting, 6. Young-man-afraid-of-his-horses, 7. Spotted Elk."--from Library of Congress American Memory website.The men wear a combination of Euro-American clothing, shirts, vests and medal pendants with traditional blankets, leggings, moccasins, hair pipe breastplates and feathers in their hats or hair. Two of the men hold ceremonial pipes.
