Content: Cover includes reproduction of a painting: in a small room a sick child lies in bed, a doctor leaning over her, his chin in his hand; in the background a mother's head is buried in her arm, while her husband looks gravely at the doctor.
Content: Summary: The doctor comes to visit a sick child; the mother is also ill, and the father out of work; they ask him for help due to their circumstances. The doctor leaves, then returns, giving the parents money to buy medicine and declares their child is safe because Heaven has heard the parents' cry.
