Content: [No place]; written within a tracing of his right hand: "My hand. Robert Southey. traced for Mrs. Calvert. by E[dith]. M[ay]. S[outhey]. 15 Jan.y 1818." Pasted on the same sheet is a small scrap with three lines from Ovid's Metamorphosis ("Oderat hic urbes …") in Southey's hand, signed, and dated Keswick, 14 September 1824. Mounted in green morocco album with gilt cover rules and spine decorations.
