Panelists mention the languages they speak; discuss how they became dancers/performers; how Sékou Touré (First President of Guinea) promoted dance and the National Dance Company of Guinea; Marie talks about how the different African cultures were mixed to create her dance company in Senegal due to President Leopold Senghor; about traditional dances and how they are changed to be mounted on a stage; talk about learning the drum music first before learning the dance; the healing that comes with the music and dance; philosophy/methodology of teaching; and concludes with each panelist performing their favorite dance.
