Description
Sheet music cover illustration depicting Pierrot, a character from the commedia dell'arte, seated on a chair, singing and playing a violin. To his left, a group of four little boys, in costumes similar to his, dance in a circle with a little girl. The action takes place in a domestic interior furnished with a curtained bed and a table holding a wine bottle and glass. On the wall are framed pictures, a hat and umbrella, and shelves holding cups, bowls, and other kitchen implements.
