Fred Danieli speaks with Peter Conway about Ballet Society; George Balanchine's The four temperaments including the original costumes and cast; Tanaquil LeClerq; working with Balanchine; his impressions of Frank (Francisco) Moncion; Balanchine's L'enfant et les sortilèges and his Renard; performing in the Broadway musical Call me mister while also dancing for Ballet Society; Ballet Society's audience; Ballet Society's repertoire including Balanchine's ballet Divertimento; John Taras' Minotaur; William Dollar's Highland fling; Todd Bolender's Zodiac; Lew Christensen's Blackface; Merce Cunningham's Seasons; Danieli's Punch and the child; John Cranko's choreographing of a ballet using the same score, by Richard Arnell; his current use of the original costumes in his production of The nutcracker for the Garden State Ballet.
