Description
Dance work inspired by jeu de paume, later called court tennis, a racket sport that originated in medieval times. Preceding the performance is a brief history of the game, and its link to the Tennis Court Oath, or Serment du Jeu de Paume, of June 20, 1789, a key event in the French Revolution.
