Statement of responsibility: [lithograph by] R. J. Lane, [after] A. E. Chalon; printed by J. Graf.
Biographical/historical: The Cachucha dance was featured in the ballet, The devil on two sticks (originally billed as Le diable boiteux when it premiered at the Paris Opéra). It was first produced in London on March 16th, 1836 at the King's Theatre, with Pauline Duvernay as Florinda.
