Content: Rossini's overture is not recorded from the beginning. Some fragments of music works are lost by overlapping announcements or drops in transmission. Sides 24 and 25 are recordings of two portions of the program with partial duplication.
Performers: Max Jordan, Senta Erb, commentators ; [members of] the Lucerne Festival Orchestra ; Arturo Toscanini, conductor.
