The company is developing both a townsite and farms. The farms will be irrigated both by water from the Nueces River and from underground sources. The principle crop will be cotton and recent tests have shown that the land will produce from 2 to 2 1/2 bales per acre. There will be 25,000 acres in cultivation, about 13,000 already cleared, irrigated, and ready from plowing and planting. Some farms are sold in 100 acre plots, each also having a modern brick house, chicken yard, and corral, pump and water system, and other out-buildings. Most of the land is being sold in family sized farms. One man from Big Springs, Texas, has bought 240 acres and has also built a cotton gin and cotton seed mill. Tractor farming is the accepted method in the section."
