Description
Performances of the pieces Rainforest and Five Stone Wind (21:44), in Avignon, France. (Please note that the performance of Rainforest has no sound.) Following these performances (1:22:50), there is footage regarding a rained-out, subsequently canceled performance which was to take place on the evening following the performance seen in the earlier content. Members and staff of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company are heard deciding to cancel the performance, and then seen having a small impromptu party and taking a group photograph. Note that portions of this segment lack sound.
