Description
Filmed in Norogachic, Mexico. Ethnographical documentary on the Easter festival of the Tarahumara Indians, who are Roman Catholics. The festival, which lasts for several days, includes dances by men whose body-painting of white bean-shaped dots suggested the title of the film. Religious processions and the symbolic killing of an effigy of Judas also form parts of the festival.
