Description
Expresses his gratitude for the kindness shown him, both in camp and here in the house of Johnson's sister; he regrets the trouble that he must have caused Mrs. Ferrall; he still suffers from his wounds, and sees no hope of a cure, though he is told that he is in no danger, and will be able to set out next day for New York; he and his aide de camp send their respects and friendship to M. D'ayres and M. De wrexell.
