Physical Description
Videocassette
Extent: 1 videocassette (VHS) (82 min.) : sound with silent sequences, color ; 1/2 in.
Description
Mikhail Baryshnikov and White Oak Dance Project in performance. Baryshnikov is solo in "Heartbeat: mb" and dances with the company in "Tchaikovsky Dance". This version of "Tchaikovsky Dance" includes several unique title cards referring to Emmanuèle's nickname (Manou) and a family illness. The video begins with a violin duet, but the audio track begins after this performance and then is cut off between each dance work. There is a spike in volume at 30:17. Visual quality is very poor, with footage appearing almost black and white at 32:20. While the camera remains on during the intermission, the audio track restarts at 48:54 during "Tchaikovsky Dance".
