Description
Janis Brenner discusses the choreographic works and the sections included in the improvisation: 1. Adding sound and transformation of the body, 2. Amber conducts, 3. Free-associating with adding words, 4. I remember, 5. Transformation in a line, 6. Grandparent section, and 7. Card memory section. The final Question & Answer includes talks about students using voice in their own works after this workshop, Janis Brenner's dance and music background, performing with Murray Louis, learning to not be afraid of judgement, creating the last piece entitled Solo for Janis by Richard Siegal, the performers talk about some of their improvisation decisions.
