NY1 Health Report (3 min.): report on National Dance Institute's work with disabled students at P.S. 199. Ballet performed in wheelchairs taught by wheelchair-bound NDI dance teacher, Kitty Lunn. Lunn offers some comments on teaching techniques and the upcoming Central Park performance of the piece the students are working on, City City. |||| Nickelodeon News (4 min.): NDI Artistic Director Ellen Weinstein talks about NDI's 20th year celebrations and the piece takes a look at NDI's work with deaf students at St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf. Linda Ellerbee reports. |||| NDI Sampler (15 min.): Performances of various works by NDI students. Works in order are Runs, Ballroom, We Real Cool, Other Side of My World at the 1995 Kennedy Center Honors, Me and My Shadow on the Donahue 25th Anniversary special, The Peanut Ballet, The Ballroom--revisited, and Brazil. At the end are credits for the 1992 Event of the Year, but no performance footage. Some of the performance footage is only excerpts of indicated work.
