Content: Large illustration at center is labeled "1.". At left is vessel "2.", and a detail of the plant design motif used near its handles is shown above it. Vessel "3." is at right. A drawing of the pattern inside either "1." or "3." is shown between them.
Content: In the battle scene shown on vessel "1.", warriors are fighting both on foot and from chariots drawn by teams of four horses. The soldiers wear crested helmets, breastplates and greaves (shin guards) as they fight with spears and shields. Note the unarmored and unarmed charioteer in his white tunic at center right. The lady on vessel "2." holds a "bandelette", a sort of ribbon-like belt or girdle often seen in Greek painted portrayals of women.
