Performers: Co-hosts: Aleia O'Reilly and John McLaughlin ; Speakers (in order of appearance): Prema Dasara, Mayor Christopher Bavasi, Joann Kealiinohomoku, Suzan Craig, Sonam Tashi, Lina Wallen, and Dr. Vasant Merchant ; Performers: members of Chaksam-pa, the Tibetan Dance and Opera Company: Tsering Topgyal, Nyima Gyalpo, Tenzin Gonpo, Sonam Tashi, Tashi Dhondup, Tsering Dolma, Tashi Yangzom; and Prema Desara.
Venue: Videotaped at Wheeler Park, Flagstaff, Arizona, on June 18, 1995, during Tibet Week, by Bold Eagle, Inc.; director, Paul Boothe.
Funding: Recorded with the assistance of grants from New York State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Description
Speeches heralding the opening of Tibet Week in Flagstaff, Arizona, June 18-25, 1995. Also included are a blessing by Reverend Elaine De Vore; a dance by Prema Dasara, accompanied by a prayer sung by Cynthia Knox; music and dancing, including two performers costumed as a yak, by Chaksam-pa, the Tibetan Dance and Opera Company; the ceremonial presentation of scarves to Dr. Vasant Merchant, Lina Wallen, Jeneda Benally, Jones Benally, Mayor Christopher Bavasi, and John McLaughlin; and a flute and vocal solo by Tashi Dhondup.
