Description
Reproductive print after an image by Andrea Boscoli, depicting an appropriately frenzied bacchanalian procession. Many of the participants play musical instruments, often entwined with grapevines. In the background at right is a triumphal car drawn by rather undersized leopards. The male figure who calmly faces front may be the god Bacchus or Dionysus.
