Biographical/historical: Senta Driver (born 1942) is an American dancer and choreographer. She studied at Ohio State University and danced with the Paul Taylor Company (1967–73) before founding her own company, Harry, which she directed until she closed the company in 1991. Her works experimented with all aspects of dance performance, including sound (and silence), the roles of male and female dancers, and the use of weight and body mass. After retiring from dance she trained as a nurse.
