Numbering: All but last plate numbered I-CCXIX.
Statement of responsibility: The German verses below the cuts are probably by Weigel, who signs the dedication.
Statement of responsibility: The title-page border is signed A I and Plate I and the last plate are signed I A. They were undoubtedly designed by Jost Amman. The initials of an unknown woodcutter, G H (with knife), occur in the title-page border. A mark on the last plate has been interpreted as Hans Weigel's by Fairfax Murray and as a "Kaufmännisches Zeichen" by Becker. Although Becker ascribes the designs for the entire work to Ammann it is probable that his share was a small one.--cf. Doege.
