Content: Illustrations: 415 woodcuts printed from the blocks used for the 1590 and 1598 editions, including some of the American and other costumes which first appeared in the 1598 edition; several several small woodcuts, mostly printer's or publisher's marks. The costume cuts, designed by Cesare Vecellio, a relative of Titian's, were cut by Christoforo Guerra who probably is identical with Christoph Chrieger. The attribution of the designs to Titian, first made in this third edition, is not generally accepted.
