This travel guide is related to NYPL's collection of The Green Book, an annual guidebook published from the 1930s through the 1960s that listed hotels, restaurants, bars, and other establishments that were safe and welcoming for African-American travelers. The Green Books have also been digitized and are available online at NYPL's Digital Collections site.
