Biographical/historical: Don Redlich is an American modern dancer, choreographer and teacher. Born in Minnesota in 1933, he danced in works by Hanya Holm, Doris Humphrey, Anna Sokolow and others prior to founding the Don Redlich Dance Company in New York in 1966. He choreographed the off-Broadway productions of Thieves' Carnival and The Robber Bridegroom.
