Andrew Kippis, Presbyterian minister and biographer. Kippis was one of William Godwin's tutors at Hoxton Academy, and in 1784 he recommended the Robinson firm hire Godwin to contribute to the New Annual Register. · Holograph account statement signed : 20 Jan 1795 : (S'ANA 0225) : for his account with the publishing firm G. G. and J. Robinson; including charges for one year's interest on a note for £600, and for payment for Kippis's having written the History of Knowledge in the last New Annual Register.
