Photographs were taken during the Mexican trip in 1924, depicting the American delegates, scenes of Mexico and Mexican officials.
Biographical/historical: The American Industrial Mission to Mexico was formed in 1924 when Marcos E. Raya, the mayor of Mexico City, extended an invitation to the American Manufacturers Export Association (A.M.E.A.) to send a delegation of American manufacturers, bankers and other businessmen to attend Mexico's Independence Day celebration. The theme of the visit was to promote commercial, industrial and banking relations between the United States and Mexico.
